To do its job the app saves things on your phone. All of it is kept locally in the app's own storage; none of it is uploaded to us or to any cloud we run — we don't run one.

The only things that go over the internet

We're upfront about this. When you use the map, standard requests go to third-party map services. Your saved dive locations are never uploaded — but like any map app, the tiles you view reveal the area you're looking at to the map provider.
We zijn hier eerlijk over. Als je de kaart gebruikt, gaan er standaard-verzoeken naar externe kaartdiensten. Je opgeslagen duiklocaties worden nooit geüpload — maar zoals bij elke kaart-app verraden de tegels die je bekijkt aan de kaartdienst welk gebied je bekijkt.
- Map tiles — satellite and terrain imagery from Esri (ArcGIS) and OpenTopoMap.
- Kaarttegels — satelliet- en terreinbeelden van Esri (ArcGIS) en OpenTopoMap.
- Place search — when you type a place name on the map, that text is sent to OpenStreetMap Nominatim to find its coordinates.
- Plaats zoeken — als je een plaatsnaam op de kaart typt, gaat die tekst naar OpenStreetMap Nominatim om de coördinaten te vinden.
- The Pro upgrade — if you buy it, the purchase is handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play and processed through RevenueCat. We never see your card details.
- De Pro-upgrade — als je die koopt, verloopt de aankoop via Apple's App Store of Google Play en wordt verwerkt via RevenueCat. Wij zien je kaartgegevens nooit.

Jij houdt de controle
By default, identifiable data — device ids, dive logs and waypoints — is kept out of your phone's backups (iCloud / iTunes and Android) so it can't leak to the cloud. You can switch this on or off under Dive logs. You can also wipe all stored data from the app's settings at any time; deleting the app removes everything it stored.
Standaard wordt herleidbare data — toestel-id's, duiklogs en waypoints — buiten de back-ups van je telefoon (iCloud / iTunes en Android) gehouden, zodat het niet naar de cloud lekt. Je kunt dit aan- of uitzetten bij de Duiklogs. Je kunt op elk moment alle opgeslagen data wissen in de instellingen; de app verwijderen wist alles wat 'ie bewaarde.

This app is experimental software and is not a dive-safety device — always verify every setting on the dive computer itself and rely on your training and certified equipment.
